And I think, even less of them are actually enjoying the process of making home food, they probably think: making food is hard or boring. Cheesy Garlic Shrimp Alfredo



















Ingredients

2 cups 2% milk
4 ounces cream cheese
2 Tbs flour
½ tsp salt
3 Tbs butter
3 Tbs minced garlic
1 cup grated Mozzarella cheese or 3 cheese blend
⅓ cup parmesan cheese (optional)
Pepper to taste
1 lb peeled and deveined shrimp
Parsley to garnish

How to make it


Using a hand mixer or blender, mix together the milk, cream cheese, flour, and salt until smooth, set aside
In a saucepan, melt butter and add garlic. Satue garlic for about a minute, then add in peeled and deveined shrimp
Cook 3-5 minutes, until pink, and just barely cooked through
Remove shrimp from pan, leave garlic and butter drippings in saucepan
Add milk mixture to the pan, and stir for 4 minutes on medium heat. Bring to a simmer, and keep stirring for about 6 more minutes until is starts to thicken.
Remove from heat, add grated cheese and Parmesan
Cover, let stand for about 5 minutes.
Add shrimp into sauce and let stand another 5 minutes
Serve over noodles of choice, I chose fettuccine. (1 lb package is sufficient)
Garnish with some dried parsley

Cowboy Lasagna




















Ingredients

1. 1 lb of ground beef
2. Minced onions - 4 tbsp
3. Worcestershire sauce - generous sprinkling
4. Parsley - roughly 3 tbsp, divided
5. One can of tomato soup - 10 3/4 ozs
6. One can of corn - 15.25 ozs
7. Dried ground mustard - 3 tsp
8. One package of tater tots - 32 ozs
9. Salt and Pepper to taste
10. Mozzarella cheese - roughly 4 cups

Directions

1. Brown ground beef with spices - drain.  Add can of soup and can of corn, simmer for about 10 minutes.
2. In a greased 9x13 baking dish, arrange tator tots in single layer.  Cover with 2 cups of cheese.  Pour ground beef mixture over top and cover with remaining cheese and 1 tbsp of parsley.
3. Place in a 350F oven for 30 minutes.  Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

Cheesy Garlic Bread Sticks


















1/4 of this pizza dough (or store bought. just have enough for a 12-inch pizza)
2 T butter, softened
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1 cup mozzarella cheese
salt and pepper, optional

How to make it :

Preheat oven to 500 degrees. Get out a pizza stone or baking sheet, and set aside.
On a piece of parchment paper, roll your dough into an 12-inch circle.
Move your dough and paper to the pizza stone.
Mix your butter and garlic in a small bowl. Then spread on pizza dough.
Sprinkle your cheeses on top of the dough, and then salt and pepper.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until cheese is golden brown and bubbly.

Taco Casserole
























1 7oz. bag Nacho Cheese Doritos, crushed
1 lb. hamburger, browned
1 pkg. taco seasoning, mixed according to directions
1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded Mozzarella cheese
Shredded Lettuce
Sliced tomato

Layer ingredients in 9 x 13 pan as listed - crushed chips, meat and seasonings, 2/3 of cheese, lettuce, tomato, and remaining cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
