And I think, even less of them are actually enjoying the process of making home food, they probably think: making food is hard or boring. So I really hope you will find recipes posted here useful, tasty and fun to prepare, and you will actually enjoy cooking them.

Strawberry shortcake cheesecake































what you neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed:
Bottom crust
22 Golden Oreos Crushed
5 Tbsp Melted butter
Filling
4 8oz packages cream cheese
1 2/3 cups sugar
1/4 cup corn starch
1 Tbsp Pure Vanilla Extract
2 Large Eggs
3/4 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
Jar of smuckers strawberry ice cream topping
Topping
12 Golden Oreos Crushed & divided into 2 bowls (one for plain Oreo topping, one for your strawberry ones)
1 1/2 Tsp Softened Butter
3 Tbsp from a small package of strawberry gelatin



how to make iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.Line the outer perimeter of your pan with aluminum foil and generously apply butter to the inside to prevent sticking.
Crust - crush the Oreo's & incorporate the butter, press into the bottom of your springform pan.
Filling - Place one 8-ounce package of the cream cheese, 1/3 cup of the sugar, and the cornstarch in a large bowl.
Beat with an electric mixer on low until creamy, about 3 minutes, then beat in the remaining 3 packages of the cream cheese. Increase the mixer speed to high and beat in the remaining 1 1/3 cups of the sugar, then beat in the vanilla.
Blend in the eggs, one at a time, beating the batter well after each one.
Blend in heavy cream.
At this point mix the filling only until completely blended. Be careful not to overmix the batter.
Gently spoon 1/2 of the cheese filling on top of the prepared crust. spoon plops 1/2 the jar of strawberry topping here and there. Drag a butterknife through the strawberries to marblize the cheese/straberries. Spoon in the other half of the batter and the repeat the strawberry process on top. Bake for 1 hour or until there is only a slight jiggle when shook gently.
crumb topping - In a small bowl or the food processor, add the Oreo cookies and pulse into large crumbs. Add the softened butter and mix gently with a fork or your hands to make pea-sized pieces stick together. Scoop out 2 tablespoons of the mixture into a small bowl and set aside. Pour strawberry jello powder over the remaining crumbs and continue pinching the pieces together. Add more softened butter if needed for mixture to stick to the cake.

Crock Pot Caramel Rolls


























what you neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed;

1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
(I love using Pampered Chef's Cinnamon Blend)
1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
2 - 10 ct. tubes refrigerated (buttermilk) biscuits

how to make iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit;
Line the crockpot (4 - 5 qt.)with parchment paper. 
(I cut out a circle using the lid as a guide for the
bottom, then using a long piece to place around the sides.)
Then spray the paper with cooking spray. 

Mix brown sugar and cinnamon together in bowl. Separate biscuits and dip into the melted butter, then into brown sugar mixture, coating both sides. Place in crockpot. (Standing them more on the edge allows them to overlap and fit into the crockpot).  Place a paper towel over the top before placing lid on (this keeps the moisture from falling onto the rolls). Cook on high for 1 - 1/2 hours. Check after an hour to see how close they are to being done. Let stand 10 minutes, then place on plate and drizzle with frosting or glaze. 

Glaze:
1/4 c. melted butter or margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1 Tb. milk
2 c. powdered sugar

Mix well until smooth.  Add more milk if needed for desired consistency.

Loaded Baked Potato Salad































what you neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed;
4 large russet potatoes
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup shredded extra sharp cheddar
4 tbsp stone ground or yellow mustard (to taste)
1/4 cup chopped chives, divided
8 strips thick cut bacon, cooked crisp and chopped
Salt and fresh cracked black pepper

In a medium bowl whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, and mustard until well mixed. Add 3/4 of the chopped chives along with some salt and pepper. Whisk to mix. Fold in the cheese and bacon (reserve some bacon for a garnish). Cover and chill for thirty minutes.
Peel and cube the potatoes into 1/2″ pieces. Cook the potatoes in salted water until fork tender. Drain and cool slightly. Fold the cooked potatoes into the chilled dressing. Garnish with the remaining chives.
