And I think, even less of them are actually enjoying the process of making home food, they probably think: making food is hard or boring. Almond Poundcake with Creamy Almond Glaze


















For the Poundcake:
2 Sticks of Unsalted Butter, Softened
1 Package of Cream Cheese, Softened
½C Almond Cake & Pastry Filling
1 ½C Sugar
4 Eggs
1t Vanilla
1t Almond Extract
1 ½C AP Flour
½C Almond Meal
1 ½t Baking Powder
1t Salt

For the Almond Glaze:
2C Confectioners’ Sugar, Sifted
¼C Almond Cake & Pastry Filling
6T Milk
1t Almond Extract
½t Vanilla


Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees and spray a bundt pan with Pam, and then set aside.
2. In a mixer, cream together the butter, cream cheese, and almond filling. Pour in the sugar and mix until fluffy and smooth. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing each one until it is incorporated before adding the next egg. Then add in the almond extract and vanilla extract.
3. While ingredients are mixing, whisk together the flour, almond meal, baking powder, and salt. Slowly add this flour mixture into the wet mixture. Mix until just incorporated.
4. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and bake the cake for roughly an hour or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the cake cool completely before pouring on the glaze.
5. To make the glaze: combine the confectioners’ sugar, almond filling, milk, almond extract, and vanilla in a bowl and whisk until it is completely combined and smooth. Pour the glaze over the cooled cake. Let the glaze harden for 15-20 minutes before you cut and serve.

Peach Roll Up Dessert


















Peaches are my most favorite fruit. Whenever each peach season, I bake cakes with peaches, I make salads, desserts and anything that can possibly go with peaches! This peach roll up dessert is one of those good recipes! Check it out.

You’ll Need:
2 whole large peaches.
2 (8 oz) cans of crescent rolls.
2 sticks of butter.
1-½ cup of sugar.
1 tsp of vanilla.
Cinnamon.
1 (12 oz) can of mountain dew.

How to:
Preheat the oven to 350° and butter a 9×13 pan.
First prepare the peaches. Peel and pit them then cut into 8 slices. Roll each peach slice in a crescent roll and arrange in the pan.
In a saucepan, melt the butter and stir in the sugar and vanilla.
Pour the butter mixture over the peaches and the mountain dew around the edges.
Sprinkle a little cinnamon over the top and bake for 40 minutes.

Easy, peasy and sweet! This will make the perfect dessert! You can choose any fruit you like, but I can assure you that peaches are the best! Give it a try, you won’t regret it.

Mississippi Roast


















I love cooking roast, especially on low heat. This Mississippi roast is so delicious and easy to make! Check it out.

You’ll Need:
1 chuck roast (4-5lbs).
1 packet ranch dressing/dip mix.
1 packet au jus.
1 stick of butter.
5-10 pepperoncini peppers.

How to:
Place the roast in the crock pot. Add the ranch mix, gravy mix, butter and place the peppers all around the roast.
Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.

Blow Your Mind Banana Pudding



















Adults and kids, we all love pudding. Especially when it’s will made! Check out my recipe for a mind blowing banana pudding! You won’t believe how good this tastes.

You’ll Need:
1 (14 ounce) can of Eagle brand condensed milk.
1 ½ cups of cold water.
3 ½ ounces of instant banana pudding mix.
1 pint of heavy whipping cream.
Sliced banana.
Vanilla wafer.

How to:
In a bowl, mix together the condensed milk, water and pudding mix until well combined then refrigerate to chill.

Beat the heavy whipping cream in a bowl and mix it with the pudding mixture.

In a dish, place a layer of Nilla wafers and top with sliced banana. Spread the creamy pudding over the bananas and repeat the layers.

Refrigerate until serving time.
Enjoy!

Rice Krispies Roll Ups


















On the weekends, I love spending time in the kitchen coming up with new crazy recipes such as this rice Krispies roll ups! My family loved this roll so much! Check out the recipe.

You’ll Need:
¼ cup of melted butter.
10 ½ ounces of mini marshmallows.
5 ½ cups of rice krispies.
1 ½ cups of milk chocolate chips.
½ cup of peanut butter.

How to:
In a 6 quart kettle, melt the butter and mix in the marshmallows and let melt over low heat then add in the rice and mix until well combined.
Spread the the mixture in a greased 10 ½ x 15 ½ baking sheet.

Melt the chocolate chips and peanut butter in the microwave for 1 minute intervals until completely melted stirring after each minute.

Spread the chocolate and butter mixture over the rice krispies mixture and let cool.

Loosen all around with a metal spatula and roll starting on the long side.
Sprinkle the roll with seasonal sprinkles and slice to serve!

Easy, peasy and crazy! The marshmallows and rice krispies go perfectly with the chocolate and peanut butter. I had some leftovers that I wrapped in saran wrap for the next day. Give it a shot, you will like it!

One of the most delicious cake I’ve ever made is this cheesecake with cherry filling. My whole family went crazy over this beauty! Check out how it’s made.

You’ll Need:
1 can of cherry pie filling.
½ cup of butter.
16 ounces of sour cream.
8 ounces of cream cheese.
1 stick of butter.
16 ounces of marshmallows.
2 regular size keebler ready graham pie crusts.

How to:
Cream together the sour cream and cream cheese in a medium large bowl until smooth.

Melt the butter on stovetop and stir in the marshmallows gradually until smooth and well combined.

Pour the marshmallow and butter mixture over the creamy mixture and stir quickly to combine.

Pour the cheesecake mixture into the crusts evenly and cover with plastic that came with the pie and refrigerate overnight.

Top with cherry pie filling or any flavor you like and voila!

Easy, peasy and yummy! This cake will take you to another world, I promise! It’s the ultimate dessert. Give it a shot, you will fall in love.

Crockpot Stuffed Peppers

















Stuffed peppers is one of the best side dishes I’ve ever had. Especially when it’s stuffed with rice, meat and cheese! Check out this amazing recipe.

You’ll Need:
4 green bell peppers.
1 lb of ground beef.
½ cup of cheddar cheese.
32 oz spaghetti sauce.
2 cups of cooked rice.
1 pepper.
1 tsp of salt.
¼ cup of onion.

How to:
First, clean the green peppers, cut off the tops and clean out the seeds and white membrane.

Mix the meat, rice, onion, salt, pepper and cheese in a bowl until well combined then stuff the peppers with the mixture.

Arrange the stuffed peppers in the crockpot and pour the spaghetti sauce over the peppers.

Cook for 6 to 7 hours on low, I add some cheese on top just before it’s done.

Bacon Cheeseburger Meatloaf

















Sometimes, we like to have a greasy meal! But not much tho. This bacon cheeseburger meatloaf is a must try! Check out how it’s made.

You’ll Need:
3 pounds 85% lean 15% fat ground beef.
1 pound of country style sausage.
2 eggs.
¾ cup of diced onion.
⅓ cup of ketchup.
1 ½ tsps of Morton’s Nature’s seasoning.
½ tsp of garlic powder.
1 tbsp of worcestershire sauce.
½ tsp of pepper.
½ tsp of salt.
½ cup of breadcrumbs.
1 cup of diced cheddar cheese.

How to:
In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients together except for the bacon.

Place the mixture in 2 loaf pans lined with bacon.

In a preheated oven to 350° bake for 90 minutes.

Remove from the pan immediately after baking, slice and serve. Voila!

Simple, easy and delicious! I save the leftovers to make sandwiches the next day! The reason why I remove it from the pan right after it’s baked is to reduce the amount of grease in it.

You’ll Need:
8 rolls.
1 (8 count) can of crescent rolls.
1 ½ cups of cherry pie filling.
½ cup of confectioners sugar.

How to:
First unroll the crescent rolls dough and fill with 2 tbsps of cherry pie in each one then roll up the dough.

Bake according to the instructions on the can and sprinkle with confectioners sugar. Enjoy!

KFC Style Gravy

You’ll Need:
4 tbsps of butter or shortening.
5 tbsps of flour.
¼ tsp of sage (optional).
¼ tsp of garlic powder.
¼ tsp of black pepper.
1 beef bouillon cube.
1 chicken bouillon cube.
2 cups of water.

How to:
In a pot, boil the water and add in the bouillon cubes and mix to dissolve.

In a small bowl mix together the flour, sage, garlic powder and black pepper.

In a saucepan, melt the butter oven low heat, mix in the flour and cook to golden stirring constantly.

Pour the bouillon water slowly, and cook over medium heat stirring constantly until you get a creamy pourable gravy sauce.

Serve hot and enjoy!
